Effect
The magician takes a piece of silk and places it over the top of their thumb.
The magician than proceeds to stick needles through the silk and into his
thumb, but when he pulls the needles out and pulls the silk away the
thumb is restored!
Materials
You will need
carrot
silk
three needles
The Secret
Instead of placing the needles into the thumb the magician is actually placing
them into the carrot. The carrot is only an inch long and is hidden in the
magicianšs hand the whole time. Be careful not to poke yourself with the
needles.
